1. Purpose
- foster all aspects of the sport of boomeranging: competition, art, science
- strengthen association with all boomerang enthousiasts in this and other countries
- promote national and international competitions
- establish uniform rules and regulations for these competitions
- select throwers to represent Canada in international competitions
- educate public about boomeranging
- become a non-profit organisation
2. Membership
- is limited to all persons interested and being either Citizens or permanent residents of Canada
- entitles members to vote on important decisions (see section 5)
- entitles members to participate in sanctioned competitions and activities
- entitles members to be eligible for elections to the Board of Directors
- need to register on the web site in order to become members
- members have to ensure that their email information on the web site is accurate
3. Board of Directors
- 3 equal directors that decide day-to-day business
- establishes committees to aid in furtherance of purpose (see section 1)
- fixes amount of annual membership fee
- establishes regulations and policies as long as they do not conflict with the bylaws
4. Treasure
- for now no treasurer
- money for special projects (ie. IFBA fee, web site, ...) can be raised by donation or fund raiser or other legal means and is responsibility of the appropriate committee chairperson (ie the organisation does not actually own any assets, for now)
5. Decisions
- All important decisions are made over online voting on the web site
- important decisions can be initiated by the board of directors or if more then 10% of the memberships and more then 2 members ask for it
- votes will be announced to all members by beginning of the vote via email
- votes will be open for 2 weeks
- only one vote per member per decision

- Bylaw changes/ammendments
- Dissolution
- Expelling a member for bad conduct or similar
6. Dissolution
- all assets shall first be used to discharge all obligations
- remaining assets shall be distributed to other non-profit organisations with similar purposes, ie USBA, IBFA
